Our Team

Katie Robinson has worked in the world of audiobooks for 10+ years. Prior to her work as a producer with Lyric, she was an acquisitions editor and social media manager with a boutique audiobook publisher. In that role, she oversaw the creation of a romance imprint, which is when her love of romance audio truly began. Now, she has produced over 500 audiobooks, including Audie, Earphone, and SOVAS award-winners. She currently lives in the Niagara region (up in Canada) with her husband and chaotic rescue dog Taco, collecting records, playing D&D, and rewatching Jane Austen adaptations far too many times.

Jenna Taplin is an avid immersion reader and has been within the audiobook space since the early 2000's as an audiobook proofer for textbooks. She’s transitioned her audiobook knowledge into romance books - starting as an audiobook BETA listener. Though she still currently works closely with many authors and production houses doing that, she also runs the day to day for Must Love Audio, our audiobook influencer ALC program and now produces as well. Bottom line, Jenna lives, eats, and breathes all things audio while living in Miami with her husband and also working professionally as a travel and lifestyle photographer.

Kim Gilmour

Producer

Kim Gilmour is one of our rock-star producers. Prior to joining Lyric Audiobooks, Kim amassed 13 years of experience as a project manager for a major New York City-based publisher where she worked on print and digital marketing pieces. Outside of her work with Lyric Audiobooks, Kim is a full time ceramic artist and owner of FisheyeCeramics. She lives in the Hudson Valley in New York with her rescue kitty, and in her spare time loves to go hiking in the Catskill Mountains or sitting on her porch reading.

Brittney Cottingham

Producer

Brittney Cottingham came to Lyric after spending nearly a decade producing TV news and managing a newsroom. She's grateful to have found a safe haven in romance audio and the community that came along with it during the COVID-19 pandemic. Brittney transitioned that admiration into a new passion – working in the romance audio community as a producer here at Lyric. She knows firsthand the joy an author feels hearing their words performed for the first time and is honored to play a part in that magic.

Socotra Williams

Producer

Socotra Williams is new to the audiobook space; in her other career as a Scrum Master, she coaches and supports technical software development teams in successfully delivering their projects. She has always loved reading and is eager to help bring creative projects to life! She currently lives in Berlin, Germany where she spends her time reading as many romantasy books as she can, planning her next exotic vacation, and doing strength training.
